- BEST OF BOTH WORLDS -

Semi-Formal images live in a sweetspot: not too detailed, not too loose. They’re most typically used by my clients for Schematic and Design Development meetings, when a project is still undergoing iterative design, or during the approvals process, whether public or institutional. They allow you to present a suite of multiple images economically, as for competitions, interviews, or early concept meetings, where there may be multiple design variations or directions presented. They serve to capture imagination, and lay clear the main idea, but without bogging down in detail or getting too invested.
